Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for the City of Cape Town Bursary, applicants must meet the following criteria:
South African citizenship and reside within the City of Cape Town metro area
Completed Grade 12 with a Bachelor's pass (minimum 60% in Mathematics and English)
Accepted or currently enrolled at a recognized South African university
Demonstrated financial need (household income below R350,000 per annum)
Strong academic record with minimum 65% average
Must be willing to work for the City of Cape Town after graduation
Not in receipt of any other municipal or government bursary
Required Documents
Applicants must submit the following documents with their application:
Certified copy of South African ID document
Proof of residence within City of Cape Town
Certified copy of Grade 12 certificate
Full academic record (if currently studying)
Proof of acceptance or registration at a recognized institution
A motivational letter outlining your career goals
Proof of household income (parents'/guardians' payslips or affidavit)
