FNB is offering Bursaries for the 2027 Academic year to students pursuing finance, data science, and IT qualifications.

Eligibility Requirements

 

To be considered for the FNB Bursary Programme, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • South African citizenship

  • Completed Grade 12 with a Bachelor's pass (minimum 65% in Mathematics and English)

  • Accepted or currently enrolled at a recognized South African university

  • Demonstrated financial need

  • Strong academic record with minimum 65% average

  • Demonstrated innovation and digital awareness

  • Not in receipt of any other full-cost bursary

 

Required Documents

 

Applicants must submit the following documents with their application:

  • Certified copy of South African ID document

  • Certified copy of Grade 12 certificate

  • Full academic record (if currently studying)

  • Proof of acceptance or registration at a recognized institution

  • A comprehensive Curriculum Vitae (CV)

  • A motivational letter highlighting your career aspirations

  • Proof of household income (parents'/guardians' salary advices or affidavit)
